A private garden, The Garden of Cosmic Speculation, is inspired by science and mathematics with sculptures and landscaping on themes such as black holes and fractals, created by Charles Jencks at Portrack House, near Dumfries in South West Scotland. Only open one day each year, it raises money for Maggie’s Centre, a cancer care charity.
